Our flexibility in implementing new technology elements is unbeatable. Thanks to continuous market research in the technical and electrical area, the personnel of Zikmund electronics can say that each new piece is better than and superior to the previous one. As plenty of new and better components are launched on the market every month, we purchase the individual components all over the world. Thanks to our development team, we can boast of a number of first places, which, in the area of using new technologies, keep us among the top-ranking places in inspection camera system selling in the Czech Republic. |

We don't make dolls, but fightersIn surface construction, we bet on a simple and plain design without unnecessary pleasing elements. Our cameras are robust and good at resistance to rough terrain. For example, the arms of the electric lift device are designed with the aim of achieving the maximum life time, which is an "Achilles heel" with our competitors. Our cameras can be lifted up by the operator holding the arms of the electric lift device. |

We were the first company to start using LED diodes. The originally used halogen bulbs were not suitable for the cold environment of waste water and had to be replaced frequently and be well re-sealed. LED diodes feature a long lifetime, thus making the operation of the inspection camera system cheaper. There are many types of LED diodes. We have special diodes with two different angles of light intensity custom-manufactured. LED diodes with angle of light intensity of 30° enable us to see far away in pipelines. LED diodes with a wide angle of light intensity of 70° are used for side lights. From a close side view, there are no flare spots in the middle of the image and peripheries are well lighted.
One-in-a-million projectIn autumn 2007, we developed a special monitoring system for hot-water pipelines. The hot-water pipeline environment is different from the sewer environment. We had to face a great change in functionality. The camera had to drive not in the round sections of the sewerage systems, but on a flat, uncontaminated surface. It had to pass 15 cm high obstacles. To reverse in such difficult conditions, the system had to be equipped with a lighted back vision function. |
